Awareness and Sensitization Workshop on User Experience & Design System: Transformation through UI/UX for Digital Governance

National e-Governance Division (NeGD) in collaboration with the M.P. State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. (MPSeDC) Government of Madhya Pradesh organized a one-day Awareness and Sensitization Workshop on User Experience & Design System (UX4G) on 9th September 2025.

The workshop was attended by Shri Vinay Pandey Head COE Division, Ms Rucha Mahale, Head SeMT, Ms Rashmi Gupta, Program Coordinator, UX/UI Designers, Developers, Project Managers and Business Analysts currently contributing in enhancement and development of public web portals and mobile apps.

It was an interactive and engaging full day workshop attended by 40+ participants.

The expert sessions were led by Mr. Ajeet Kumar, DGM, Mr. Akarshan Chauhan, UX Designer, and Mr. Aditya Satwal, Sr. UI Designer, and focused on enhancing awareness about the importance of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) in government service delivery.

The workshop covered key aspects, including UX design thinking, UX audits of applications, defining real-life problem statements, and the demonstration of the UX4G Design System—a reusable digital repository aimed at improving citizen-centric services.

To demonstrate the implementation of good practices in UX enhancements, case studies on MP Online, Aaajivika Mart etc were showcased. Live session was delivered for conducting UX audit of a websites using “Audit 360” (AI based automated UX audit tool by UX4G).

Participants gained insights into industry’s best practices, state-specific case studies, and hands-on demonstrations to strengthen their understanding of UX/UI and its impact on effective governance.
